Overview

Interviews guarantors for vital financial information relating to their ability to provide financial coverage for their clinic visit or hospital stay at all CMH locations. This position is responsible for finding programs to assist families who are at a financial liability to the hospital or clinics. Each person in this role will hold the utmost confidence in the information provided to them by the families. In addition, this role is responsible for administering the Hospital's financial assistance program.

If you are selected for this position, you will be asked to supply your immunization records as proof of vaccination. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Screens guarantors for all available programs.
  • Processes financial assistance applications
  • Documents the financial counseling process
  • Complete Financial Analyst reports
  • Maintains knowledge of all areas within Admissions Services Department.
  • Adheres to customer service guidelines for the Patient Access Department and demonstrates excellent customer service delivery in daily interactions.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience 3-5 years in a Customer Service role, with a minimum of 2 years working in a Patient Access Department, Government programs and insurance knowledge, preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $19.71/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
