Overview

The Senior Configuration Management Analyst plays a key role in overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and is responsible for its accuracy, completeness, and evolution. The Sr Analyst oversees and leads Configuration Management governance, health, and maturity initiatives, and is responsible for the design, communication, and enforcement of CMDB Processes and Integrations to support cybersecurity resilience, IT Operations continuity, and integrated risk management. The Sr Analyst ensures seamless builds and successful deployments through partnership with impacted departments. The Sr Analyst drives improvements in Configuration Management processes, ServiceNow Discovery, and Service Mapping by leveraging industry standards and best practices.

 

ServiceNow and CMDB are  important to this role! Candidates must be within driving distance of the main campus in KCMO!

Responsibilities

  • Drives strategic oversight of CMDB maturity, continuous improvement, data quality, integration initiatives and ensures alignment with overall IT strategy. Proactively identifies issues and analyzes process issues from current and historical data to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Drive the implementation and optimization of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to enhance infrastructure visibility and service awareness.
  • Partner and collaborate with stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure CMDB alignment. Actively contribute to team and organizational knowledge growth through mentoring and collaboration.
  • Model continuous learning by staying current with trends, best practices, and new ServiceNow platform features through regular training and self-study.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience in technical, information systems, or related roles accepted in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow experience preferred. Focus on analysis, process improvement, and technical roles preferred. or
  • Associate's Degree and 7+ in technical, information systems, or related roles accepted in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow experience preferred. Focus on analysis, process improvement, and technical roles preferred. or
  • High School diploma, or equivalent, and 9+ years of experience in technical, information systems, or related roles accepted in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow experience preferred. Focus on analysis, process improvement, and technical roles preferred.
  • One of the following: 
    • Employees must obtain ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent within 90 days
    • Employees must obtain ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or equivalent within 180 days
    • Employees must obtain ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification or equivalent within 365 days

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $39.59/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.
