Overview

The Provider Relations Territory Manager reports to the Director of International Services and Business Development and is responsible for helping identify growth opportunities for the organization within their assigned territories. Each Provider Relations Territory Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with at least 400 practices and over 1,300 providers. This is accomplished through gathering and disseminating strategic insights as well as utilizing data to inform the Territory Manager of key trends that may be leading indicators to dissatisfaction of our clinical service lines. The Territory Manager will use these qualitative and quantitative data to help develop initiatives to offset leakage by fostering and building relationships with community practices as well as help inform strategic opportunities for the organization for their designated territory. This position will also develop newly prioritized relationships in order to build and foster strategic relationships while also maintaining current strategic relationships. These relationships are the lifeline to the organization as community referrals are what enables CMH to thrive. Responsibilities

  • Building and Developing Strategic Partnerships with Community Providers: The Territory Manager will be responsible for building and developing relationships with community providers.
  • Helping identify Upstream opportunities to increase referrals: The Territory Manager will work with the Director to identify opportunities for CM to further build relationships with referring practices through the review and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data for their designated territory. Preferred customer relationship management tool experience. 
  • Gathering and Disseminating Strategic Insights to help inform strategic opportunities. Through an in-depth knowledge of the designated territory, they will offer the organization both provider and territory insights to assist with initiative development.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years' experience. Previous physician office work, sales, customer service, pharmaceutical sales (pediatrics a plus), medical center marketing, medical device sales, hospital experience or nursing.
  • Valid Driver's License Required.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $37.71/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.

 

 

Remote Work/Work from Home

This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
